- What did you like most?The location is wonderful.....right off the main drags so that it's not too noisy at night...but only a block away from all the action. The room I had was perfect for one person....two would work but be a bit cramped. I had a problem with my shower....but maintenance fixed it as soon as I asked. And the staff---24 hours a day, especially the day shift...what a terrific combo--all of them!!-- of professionalism, friendliness, helpfulness, and just the right amount of sassy comeback as soon as they found out what me and my buddy were about! 10/10---I left them all a hidden gift....I hope they found it!!
- Was there anything you didn't like?The Exeter is not cheap....but we're talking about Reykjavik, and that means it wasn't expensive, either. And the rooms aren't romantic at all......but they surely are functional, and that's what matters to me. The internet was good, the shower was good (as soon as was fixed) and breakfast was varied and excellent. For a package of everything that is important to me, the Exeter is at least a 9......and the staff, throughout, make it a ten. I had so much fun every morning with the whole reception crew....simply phenomenal.
